Basic flow (procedures) of JICQA’s JIS certification is shown below.
The total processing time from application acceptance through certification normally takes about six months.
Please accept the terms in the “Memorandum of Understanding for the Application for JIS Certification Audit” contained in the application form before submitting an application for JIS certification.
Following JICQA’s acceptance of Applicant’s application, certification audit, and deliberation at a certification decision meeting, JICQA will conclude the Certification Agreement with the Applicant, expected Licensee. (You can access the Contract Agreement at the link, “Rights and obligation of Applicant/Licensee (contract)”)
JICQA will issue a Certificate of Compliance after the conclusion of the Certification Agreement.
